We were enticed & tempted by the Instagram images of their gooey cheesy crispy grilled cheese melt sandwich & therefore, decided to visit Brawn & Brains (Guillemard outlet) on a weekend afternoon. Waited for about 20 to 30 minutes before we got a table inside, but I would say its worth the wait.

When I said they were really generous with the portion, I mean it. Certainly worth the price ($15.8). I have tried quite a few grilled cheese sandwiches before from various cafes, and this is by far the best I have ever eaten. I loveeeeeee the gooey & stretchy cheese. I am sure there will probably 2 to 3 types of cheeses & I am glad to say that the combination was delicious. Bonus: the sandwich had a nice crunch to it, perfect combo!

We also ordered their iced white - both house blend & single origin coffee beans. We preferred the house blend coffee beans more than the single origin's. We described it as house blend = Dimbulah's coffee while single origin = Starbuck's coffee. Honestly, no tea no shade because I do enjoy Starbucks coffee & have no problem drinking it daily.

We finished our meal with their BB sourdough waffles topped with vanilla ice cream & sea salt caramel sauce.

Ice cream was delicious. The waffles, however, were slightly too "burnt" for my liking. It's still a good plate of waffles, but not the best that I have tried.

Will we go back there again? Certainly! But the next time we go, we will just order a plate of their grilled cheese melt sandwich, as well as other mains to share.
