Cruffin

It was my first time having a cruffin which is a hybrid between a croissant & a muffin. It was a gift from my sister's friend which was really sweet & thoughtful of her! These cruffins were from Bakery Brera & Fine Foods, located at Empress Road.

I am not a big fan of croissants nor muffins but decided to still give this cruffin a try. And yup, I definitely still do not know how to appreciate the flakiness & airiness of a croissant.

However, as a huge fan of chocolate, I really enjoyed this ferrero rocher cruffin. The filling of hazelnut chocolate inside the cruffin was well-balanced with the dough surrounding it.

Doesn't it look similar to a rose? Really pretty. <3
